We're hiring Bartenders to join our food and beverage team at the Crest Hotel in Prince Rupert, BC.
The Bartender prepares and serves beverages in the Waterfront Restaurant & Lounge, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings. Knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine and beer service, and beverage program fundamentals is critical. And we will require a Serving It Right certification for any successful candidate. If you do not have a current SIR certificate at the time you are hired, you will need to acquire one within 30 days. Part of your jobs will include monitoring guest consumption and applying responsible service practices in compliance with BC liquor regulations.
Aside from preparing and serving beverages, the bartender provides attentive, knowledgeable guest interaction at the bar and supports beverage service to the dining room. Taking pride in delivering exceptional service and having great attention to detail is a must. After all, it's how we represent the Crest's long tradition of quality and local hospitality.

We're looking for someone with 1 to 5 years of experience in a full-service restaurant or lounge, but the qualities we value most are kindness and optimism, curiosity and a love of learning, a strong work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
This role is a full-time position with 40 hours of work available per week and a $20.28 per hour wage. You will need to be willing to work some days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of your shift schedule.
