Busser

Crest Hotel in Prince Rupert
  • Prince Rupert

Description

We're hiring a Busser at the Crest Hotel in Prince Rupert, BC to support our operations at the connected Waterfront Restaurant & Lounge.

The Busser supports the flow and pace of service in the Waterfront Restaurant & Lounge by maintaining table readiness, clearing and resetting tables, running food and beverages, and supporting the service team throughout each shift. This is a guest-facing role that contributes directly to dining room presentation and the overall guest experience.

The ability to work at a steady pace in a fast-moving, guest-facing environment is important, especially when responsibilities for this role include clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly to standard between seatings. This includes handling dishware, glassware, and service equipment carefully to minimize breakage. Other responsibilities include maintaining dining room cleanliness including floors, service stations, and guest-facing surfaces.

The Busser is also responsible for running food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to restaurant tables accurately and efficiently, as well as replenishing water, bread, and other table items as directed by the service team. As a result, this role requires strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and dining room presentation.

Your responsibilities also include assisting with pre-shift setup and post-shift breakdown, including polishing, stocking, organizing service areas, and communicating with servers and managers about table status, guest needs, and service flow. As a result, we're looking for a team-focused attitude and willingness to support service needs wherever required.

This is a full-time position with up to 40 hours per week, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. The wage for this position is $20.28 per hour, and we prefer candidates with 1–5 years of experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality role.

If you're interested in this position, you can apply through the application form on this page or by sending your resume directly to careers@cresthotelbc.com.
