Description
Chances Grill PR is hiring 1 Part-Time Restaurant Server and 2 Full-Time Restaurant Servers in Prince Rupert, BC. We're looking for people who are positive, trustworthy team players.
Chances Grill PR is located inside a casino. This means our Restaurant Server needs to be comfortable in loud, casino environments. The ideal candidates will be able to work in the midst of loud noise, dim lighting, and flashing lights. They will also thrive in a busy guest-facing environment, ensuring all guests have a fun, memorable experience that keeps them coming back for more. As such, we're looking for people who already have six months to one year of experience in the Food Services or Hospitality industry.
The ability to multi-task is important, and so is having excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to perform well under pressure. As servers, the successful candidates will need to be available to work on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. They should also be able to lift and carry trays filled with food and dishes as well as stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
Our Part-Time Restaurant Server position has 20 to 30 hours of work per week, perfect for people who need flexibility in their schedule, like students. Our Full-Time Restaurant Server positions have 40 hours of work per week for anyone looking for more hours. As these are serving positions, you will need to be available to work some days and evenings as well as weekends and holidays for either. The wage for these roles is $18.25 per hour plus tips.
Because the Chances Grill PR is located inside a casino, all candidates must be 19 years or older and have a Serving It Right certificate as well as the ability to successfully complete a criminal record and credit check through the Independent Gambling Control Office (IGCO).
You can apply to be our new Restaurant Server by dropping off your resume at the casino or by submitting an application through the form on this page. We look forward to hearing from you!
